About
A home for the diaspora’s businesses and communities.
Deespora helps African and Caribbean people in the US find the businesses, events and communities that feel like home, and helps those businesses be found.
What we are building
One app for the places that feel like home
A mobile app and website where you can search for restaurants, hair salons, markets, churches and more, browse by community, find events, and ask an assistant for recommendations that point to real businesses.
Many communities, none above another
Deespora is for every African country and the Caribbean.
Honest about what is verified
We mark listings clearly as Verified or Unverified.
Owners in control
Businesses claim their listing for free and keep their own details current.
