Terms of Service

Welcome to Deespora. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Deespora (“Deespora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) covering your use of the Deespora app and website. If anything is unclear, email info@deespora.com.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing or using Deespora, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. They apply to everyone who uses Deespora, whether you are browsing, submitting a business, claiming a listing, or using Deespora AI. If you do not agree, please do not use Deespora.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the app.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws that apply to you.
  • You must follow all applicable local, state and federal laws.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and remove the associated data.

3. Your account

  • Signing up. You sign in with your email address, using a one-time code we email you and, where you set one, a password.
  • Security. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for activity under your account.
  • Accurate information. Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to get around limits.
  • Saving. You can save businesses and events to your account.
  • Submitting and claiming. You can submit a new business or claim an existing listing that belongs to you.
  • Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, then Delete account). See how to delete your account.

4. Listings and content

  • Where listings come from. Listings come from public data and from submissions by users and owners. New submissions and claims are reviewed by our team before they are published or approved.
  • Verified and Unverified. Verified means the owner claimed the listing and our team approved the claim. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality.
  • We do not guarantee accuracy. Hours, addresses, phone numbers and services may be incomplete or out of date.
  • We are not the businesses. Deespora is a directory. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or conduct of any listed business, or for any transaction or interaction you have with one.
  • You are responsible for what you submit. By submitting a listing, claim, photo, menu or event, you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. If you claim a listing, you confirm that you own or are authorized to manage that business.
  • We can edit or remove content. We may edit approved listings for accuracy or formatting, and remove any content that violates these Terms, at our discretion.

5. Deespora AI

Deespora AI helps you find businesses by describing what you are looking for. Its answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete, incorrect or outdated. They are not professional advice of any kind. Do not rely solely on AI answers for important decisions, and verify important information with the business. Deespora is not liable for actions you take based on AI-generated content.

6. What you cannot do

  • Submit false or misleading business information, or claim a business that is not yours
  • Create fake accounts or impersonate someone else
  • Spam, harass or abuse other users
  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share
  • Scrape, copy or extract listing data for purposes outside normal use of the app
  • Misuse Deespora AI, including attempts to make it produce harmful, abusive or unintended output
  • Interfere with the app’s operation or try to get around its security
  • Use Deespora for any unlawful purpose

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual property

  • We own the platform. Deespora owns the app, its branding, design and underlying technology. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of it without our permission.
  • You own your content. You keep ownership of what you submit, such as descriptions, photos and menus.
  • License to us. By submitting content, you give Deespora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce and distribute it as part of operating and promoting Deespora.

8. No guarantees

Deespora is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available or error-free, that listings, events or AI answers will be accurate or current, or that the app will meet your needs. You use Deespora at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Deespora is not liable for any interactions, transactions, disputes or experiences between you and a listed business.
  • Deespora is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
  • Deespora’s total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you have paid to use it, which is zero because the app is free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of this may not apply to you.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. We may remove listings or content that violate these Terms at any time. You can delete your account whenever you like.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be handled in the state and federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Deespora after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
